21st Century Marketing Has Just Gone Mobile
You would have had to be living under a rock to miss the growth of the mobile phone.
Infact you can’t go anywhere without seeing people permantly glued to their mobile phone and mobile devices…….When
- Sitting at a coffee joint
- Watching a television soap on an iPad
- Killing time at office
- On a bus ride
- ….. and so on
Here Are Some Mobile Marketing Stats
- We are spending 2 hours 51 minutes a day on our mobile devices. The only other media we spend more time on is TV at 4 hours and 21 minutes.
- Raise in mobile use is because of higher use of Social networks and mobile devices.
- When they compared the mobile advertising trends of 2013 with the expected trends (based on quantitive analysis), they found out that marketeers will be spending more than 80 percent on mobile advertising as compared to the amount they invested in 2013.
- When compared with traditional advertising mediums, 2015 will see mobiles accounting for 14% of the total ad spending in US, while newspapers will witness a decline to 8.6% and magazines to 7.9%. The radio ads won’t fare any better at 8.2%.
This is Great For Us
And all these stats basically are a marketers dream. You can obviously see that there is a trend towards greater marketing on mobile devices
So what you need to do is find a way to get your offers and services infront of the custom audiences that is now easily accessible via mobile marketing platforms.
The new advertising platforms emerging do all the hard work for you. They can target people of certain ages, or certain sex, plus a host of other demographics
As well as that you can now use mobile friendly squeeze page (with something like LeadPages) that will help you rapidly grow your list when doing mobile advertising.
So How Do I Do It?
As this form of marketing is relatively new you can get clicks at the price you used to be able to get ppc (pay-per-clicks) from Google….Many moons ago. Maybe I’m showing my age but there was a time you could get clicks from Google at 5 cents a click 🙂
So the opportunity of cheap clicks exists again….
